Crossing over Norton Creek through the covered bridge entrance, you are welcomed into Bridge Creek by a pristine cool mountain forest where the neighborhood is nestled amidst 155 acres formerly enjoyed by just three families, the descendents of the original 1872 land grant. Your shared experiences can be just as treasured as the past 130 years have been for the original property owners the Choate, Buchanan and Long families.  Warm memories will be shared with your family and friends and hopefully passed from generation to generation.

Bridge Creek is located only a few minutes from the heart of Cashiers, North Carolina, which rests in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains, Bridge Creek is a community that delivers you to the simpler pleasures found when relaxing with your friends and family members.  One may fish on one of the three trout streams that lazily wind through the property or one of the three stocked ponds, or simply rest and relax on the banks of the streams on one of the many scenic spots along the greenbelt trail system.  

Resting serenely at the heart of the Bridge Creek community is a full measure of amenities integrated into the landscape.  Families can rediscover the rewards of nature surrounding their home as they fish miles of undisturbed trout streams and the many ponds or enjoy scenic overlooks and miles of nature trails.  

Bridge Creek's "Spring House" lawn that joins the fishing and swimming pond is a gathering place for families, their guests, and social events.  The original homestead fireplace now exists as the "Buchanan Chimney Garden", welcoming folks for casual fireside chats, roasting marshmallows and telling stories.

Bridge Creek's oversized homesites ranging from one to four acres allow for spectacular views of many mountain ranges, Lake Glenville and the ever-changing seasons.

You can also choose a cabin style home built in the "Great Camp Style" within three distinct villages nestled throughout the community.  Design of these homes and cabins are a celebration of nature built with indigenous wood and stone exteriors, providing low-cost maintenance but with a hand-crafted elegance of the old summer camp style.
